Bamboo Mat Regular Natural - Moso
Description
This beautiful bamboo mat on a roll is made from natural Chinese Moso bamboo sticks with a diameter of 20 - 35 mm. The sticks of this mat are naturally closed at the top, so no rainwater or dirt can get in. Regular bamboo mats are available in various sizes and easy to trim to size yourself. Because the mats are assembled with steel wire, they are flexible and can be bent around curves.

Colour differences and variations in the width of the bamboo sticks are normal for this natural product. Vertical splitting is a natural characteristic of the material too. Splits are most likely to appear during the hot, dry months of the year. In damp, cold weather the splits are smaller than in dry, warm weather. Splitting has no effect on the lifespan of the mat.
Because we buy our materials directly at the source, you are assured of the best price and unique bamboo mats.

Care
Once you have installed the bamboo mats, you can apply our Bamboo Protector, a specially developed colourless/transparent stain that protects the bamboo against grime and discolouration. Outdoors, bamboo will grey and change colour, just like any natural material. We therefore advise treating bamboo once a year, preferably in spring, with our Bamboo Protector, a specially developed stain that protects the bamboo and restores its colour. Bamboo Renovator is easy to apply to cleaned bamboo with a brush. Use thin coats and spread the Bamboo Renovator out well. To clean bamboo you can use our Bamboo Cleaner. For stubborn dirt or grime, bamboo can also be washed down with a pressure washer. Keep a suitable distance to avoid damage. An alternative maintenance product is also available, namely Bamboo Booster, a natural oil that is easy to apply with a cloth. This oil gives a beautiful glossy result. The oil protects and nourishes the bamboo, but does not slow down the discolouration process. Bamboo Booster can be applied several times a year for the best result. The oil simply cannot be combined with our Bamboo Protector and Bamboo Renovator stain.
