Black Bamboo Renovator is a specially developed UV-resistant stain for outdoor use in a brown-black tone. It is designed for restoring dark-coloured bamboo materials such as poles, garden screens, mats and pergolas. It is intended for brown and black bamboo species only.

When bamboo is kept outdoors, it gradually loses its original colour. This is a natural process. The weathering or greying of bamboo is caused by constant exposure to sun, rain and wind. In extreme cases, this exposure can shorten the durability and lifespan of your bamboo materials.
Black Bamboo Renovator not only restores the brown-black colour, it also helps protect against future greying. This stain has a matt finish that brings out the naturally dark tone of bamboo.

Instructions for use
Make sure the bamboo surface is clean, dry and free of grease before you apply the Black Bamboo Renovator. Open the tin and stir well before use. You can then apply the Black Bamboo Renovator with a flat brush, such as our Disposable Brush. We recommend applying 2 to 3 coats for optimal protection. The product cannot be applied at a temperature below 10 °C and/or a relative humidity above 85%. Store the Black Bamboo Renovator in a cool, frost-free place and out of reach of children. To protect your bamboo products against ageing for the long term, we recommend applying a fresh coat of Black Bamboo Renovator every year. DRYING TIME After application, Black Bamboo Renovator is dust-dry after approx. 1.5 hours, thumb-hard after approx. 4 hours and recoatable after approx. 16 hours
