Our roller blinds are made from sturdy freshwater reed bound together with black palm rope. This construction lets you roll the blinds up and down easily to whatever height you want. Because reed is a lightweight material, these roller blinds remain easy to operate even on wider windows and never become too heavy.
The light natural colour of reed looks beautiful in any interior. Reed roller blinds can also be used outdoors as sun shading for a veranda, canopy, conservatory or garden room. You can roll the blinds all the way down during the day to keep the heat out, or set them halfway to soften bright sunlight.
Please bear in mind that outdoor use, especially exposure to rain, can shorten the lifespan of the blinds. Reed Roller Blinds must never be rolled up while wet, as this can cause mould.

Care
For indoor use, no further maintenance is needed. If you want to use the Reed Roller Blind outdoors, you can treat it with our Bamboo Booster oil. This adds a protective layer to the reed, making it less susceptible to outside influences. Bamboo Booster oil is easy to apply several times a year with Maintenance Wipes for the best result. Use thin coats and spread the oil out well.
