The leaves are clamped between two bamboo slats and then secured with an extra double bamboo slat. When correctly installed, palm leaves used as roofing have an average lifespan of between 3 and 10 years. This depends partly on the weather conditions and on where the thatched panels are fitted.
These thatched panels are not impregnated. For indoor use, or when used as a canopy, we strongly recommend treating the panels with our flame retardant spray.
Because we buy our materials straight from the source, you are guaranteed the best price and truly unique materials.
